Wolgast's new employee-owners announced

New Construction Management Field Manager, Michael Hollingshead of Chase, Michigan, joins Wolgast with 36 years of construction experience.  He has held positions of concrete finisher, foreman, carpenter, and construction superintendent.  Through Hollingshead’s experience, he has established supervisory skills on the job site, also for scheduling, safety enforcement, and quality control monitoring.  He has first-hand experience with carpentry, heavy equipment operation, and leading a workforce.  As Wolgast Field Manager, Hollingshead will be responsible for being on the construction site from start-to-finish, participating in weekly trade contractor meetings, monitoring progress, enforcing safety standards, offering value engineering suggestions, and overseeing any warranty issues that may arise.

 

Derek RickettRickett-D2.jpg has returned to Michigan from Colorado and has joined Wolgast Corporation as a Project Manager.  As a third generation carpenter, Rickett has over sixteen years of construction experience including owning his own construction company while in Colorado.  In addition, he has held positions of Project Manager, Production Manager for a home improvement company, Construction Superintendent, and Carpenter.  As a Project Manager, Rickett oversaw multi-million dollar construction projects for the Air Force Academy and other government divisions.  For Wolgast, he will be responsible for the implementation of estimating, management, schedule/budget adherence and quality control for projects within Wolgast’s General Construction and Design/Build Divisions.  He now resides in Midland, Michigan with his wife and three sons.
