30 Years of K-12 Construction Management Leadership and 20 Years of Employee-Ownership

In 2026, Wolgast Corporation proudly celebrates two significant milestones that reflect its long-standing commitment to Michigan communities, public education, and employee-ownership.

 Thirty years ago, Wolgast expanded its services to include Construction Management, becoming an advocate for K-12 school districts navigating the complexities of bond-funded projects. At a time, public school districts were limited to using a Construction Manager for publicly funded projects, Wolgast stepped in as a trusted partner—focused on transparency, accountability, and long-term value for taxpayers.

ABC Greater Michigan Chapter hosted the Greatness and Gratitude Gala last week to honor member contractors on their achievements over the past year. Wolgast is honored to be a STEP Platinum recipient, and to receive three Excellence in Construction Awards!

Saginaw, MI – In 2019, the State of Michigan (at the petition of the NCCER), named October the “Careers in Construction Month” (CICM).  Being the first full week of CICM 2021, Wolgast Corporation promotes the wide spread benefits of working in the Construction Industry.

Wolgast Corporation of Saginaw, Michigan today announced that its status as an Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) has been renewed by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).

Safety First! is our motto and we take it very seriously.  Focussing on safety helps us maintain a happy, healthy, and capable staff to take on our client's projects, and also a positive reputation within our community.  Our employee-owners help make up the whole of our company and we want to keep each of us safe from harm for their sake, their family's sake and for all the relationships that are built on our job sites.  Additionally, we are looking out for our clients and any of their visitors who may come on the jobsite.  Safety is a never ending task and we have systems in place to exceed the necessary precautions.
