Wolgast Corporation Named an Accredited Quality Contractor for 2025
Saginaw, Michigan, October 13, 2025—Wolgast Corporation of Saginaw, Michigan today announced it has earned the Accredited Quality Contractor Platinum credential from Associated Builders and Contractors. Only 591 of the nation’s elite merit shop construction contractors earned the credential in 2024.
Wolgast Announces Addition to CM Staff
Saginaw, MI - Wolgast Corporation is pleased to welcome Jason McDonald of Mt. Pleasant as our newest Project Manager in the Construction Management Division. He will focus on K-12 School Construction. McDonald brings with him 19 years of experience in Maintenance and Facilities Management experience. He most recently served as the Facilities Manager at Beal City Schools for 11 years. During his tenure, McDonald oversaw a multitude of construction and renovation projects through their bond programs, demonstrating strong leadership, project coordination, and deep understanding of facility operations. In his new role at Wolgast Corporation, McDonald will apply his extensive background to manage a variety of commercial and institutional projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. He will also be responsible for monitoring the progress, budget and schedule of construction while minimizing challenges for our valued clients. We are extremely excited to have McDonald on the team and for the experience and knowledge he adds to our team capabilities.

Matt Harris of Chesaning, MI has been promoted to Vice President of Field Operations. Previously serving as Director of Field Operations, Harris has been instrumental in enhancing Wolgast’s field operations, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership, dedication, and strategic vision. His commitment to client satisfaction and the continuous development of Wolgast’s Employee-Owners has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s operational excellence. In his new role, Harris will continue to lead and refine field operations, ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Additionally, as a member of Wolgast Corporation’s Board of Directors, he will further influence the company's strategic direction—enhancing operations and reinforcing the long-term success of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Wolgast Announces Additions to Staff
Wolgast Corporation announces additions to its staff Steve Kerby of Saginaw’s Thomas Township has accepted a position as Director of Business Development for the company. He joins the sales team to seek out and develop new clients while serving existing customers for Design-Build and General Construction opportunities. Kerby, a Leadership Saginaw graduated, brings experience from his previous role as Director of Sales for Source One Environmental in Davison. He achieved his B.S. in Finance and MBA from Central Michigan University and also received leadership and sales training from Dale Carnegie. Kerby is involved with Swan Valley Athletics, has coached Rage travel baseball and Sugar Beets travel softball, and is an outdoorsman active in the Riverend Hunt Club.
