Wolgast Corporation has made an internal promotion and hired additional staff. President and CEO, Brian Stadler, made the announcement. Wolgast Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of Kyle Thompson of Freeland, Michigan, from Field Manager in the Construction Management (CM) Division to Project Manager within the CM Division. Thompson brings 23 years of construction industry experience to his new role. He has held several key positions, including Project Superintendent in Wolgast’s General Construction Division and Field Manager in the Construction Management Division. Thompson has been a valued member of the Wolgast team for 19 years, contributing to the successful delivery of more than thirty-five projects throughout his tenure. He earned his degree in Construction from Delta College and has developed extensive hands-on expertise across all phases of construction. In his new role as Project Manager, Thompson will leverage his field experience to support multiple K-12 school clients in achieving their project goals. His responsibilities will include monitoring construction progress, overseeing prime contractors in accordance with contractual requirements, and managing project budgets and schedules to ensure projects remain on time and within budget. Thompson had this to say about his new position, “Stepping into this role allows me to take on more project responsibilities while using my field experience to support our team and deliver efficient, well-managed projects for our school clients.” |

Julie Williams of Fenton, Michigan, has joined the company’s Construction Management (CM) Division as an Educational Consultant.
Williams recently retired as School Superintendent with 36 years of experience in the education field. Throughout her career, she successfully led her school district through bond and sinking fund elections and brings valuable insight into school funding, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Williams holds a Specialist in Education degree from Saginaw Valley State University and a master’s degree in education from Eastern Michigan University. As Educational Consultant, she will advise Michigan school district leadership teams on funding options, collaborate with steering committees, provide guidance on campaign strategy, and serve as Wolgast’s primary liaison to Superintendents and business offices throughout the duration of each project.
On her new role, Williams said, “I am excited to begin this new work. I believe I can provide valuable assistance to current superintendents who are working on bond and sinking fund campaigns and projects. My goal is to provide them with support, so they can continue to focus on instruction and learning in their districts.” |
