Wolgast Corporation Announces Addition to Project Management Staff

Wolgast Corporation announces addition to its staff. Caprice Castano of Swartz Creek, Michigan has accepted a position as Project Manager Assistant for Wolgast Restoration Division.  Caprice will be assisting Project Managers and coordinating with clients to facilitate restoration projects with excellent quality and service.  Caprice brings 18 years of construction and property development experience.  She recently held the position of Project Coordinator for Toll Brothers, Inc.

Wolgast Corporation Announces Additions to Project Management Staff

Saginaw, MI, Wolgast Corporation announces an addition to its staff.

Michele VanSnepson has accepted a position as Project Manager Assistant.  VanSnepson has twenty years of experience working in construction and manufacturing industries including general construction, architectural and electrical contracting.  Her most recent position prior to coming to Wolgast was as a contract administrator.  At Wolgast, she will assist the Project Managers with administrative duties to complete the construction of medical/dental offices, manufacturing plants, financial institutions, and restaurants to name a few.  VanSnepson originally is from Walled Lake, Michigan, but now resides in Essexville, Michigan.

Eric SchwartzlySaginaw, MI – Eric Schwartzly, project manager of Wolgast Corporation, has achieved LEED AP BC + D status by passing exams administered by the Green Building Certification Institute this week.

WOLGAST TEAM ACHIEVES LEED SILVER FOR NEW MEDICAL FACILITY

BGI South, LLC, the local developer for the newDepartment of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Annex building on Barnard St. in Saginaw, Michigan, has achieved Silver certification for New Construction under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Wolgast Corporation was the Design/Builder for the building, and Rick Keith of Wolgast Design Group was the architect.

ANNOUNCING CHANGES TO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT STAFF

Wolgast Corporation announces a change to its staff. Steve Salyers of Cincinnati, Ohio has accepted a position as Project Manager, for Wolgast’s Construction Management Division.

Hogan Center Awarded Green Building Certification

Congratulations to Alma College and their Hogan Athletic Center for achieving LEED Silver certification!  Wolgast Corporation is recognized in the "Hogan Center Awarded Green Building Certification" article by the Morning Sun for our efforts in helping Alma College achieve their first LEED Certified building.

WOLGAST RECEIVES ABC AWARD FOR CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

Wolgast Corporation is proud to announce that they have been recognized as an Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) for the 17th consecutive year.  They received the national recognition as a result of meeting high certification standards evaluated by the Associated Builder’s and Contractors (ABC), a national association representing approximately 23,000 contractors that provide the merit shop approach across the United States.  For the evaluation, Wolgast excelled in five areas of corporate responsibility, including, quality, safety, employee benefits, training, and community relations/outreach activities. The AQC recognition further defines Wolgast as a contractor who truly cares about its clients, employees, and community, and also, emphasizes the commitment Wolgast places on training and safety to ensure the success of our projects.

WOLGAST CUSTOMERS RECEIVE BEAUTIFICATION AWARDS FOR THEIR BUILDINGS

Morley Companies, Inc. and Independent Bank were both awarded Beautification Awards at last week's Saginaw Township Business Association's Businesses of the Year Luncheon. Morley received the New Construction Award for 2009 for their new 32,750 S.F. facility that allowed them to add 650 new jobs. Independent Bank received the Renovation/Redevelopment Award for 2009 for their transformation and addition to the former TCF Bank at Fashion Square. The interior was completely rearranged and a new entrance, office, and drive-up ATM were added.
