TWO EMPLOYEE-OWNERS RECEIVE AWARDS FOR RECORD 20 YEARS OF PERSONAL SAFETY

Two of Wolgast Corporation’s staff members achieved unprecedented safety awards for 20 years of personal safety at the company’s Employee Development Meeting focusing on safety on February 19th. Neither Mark Stavely nor Keith LaPratt has had a personal MIOSHA recordable injury or illness in the past 20 years. Stavely has been with the company for 31 years and LaPratt for 25 years. This achievement is based on the records Wolgast keeps for the Michigan Safety and Health Standards, which requires employers to maintain a log of work-related injuries and work-related illnesses that result in death, medical treatment beyond first aid, lost or restricted work days, and loss of consciousness.

WOLGAST CORPORATION MAKES TOP THREE IN NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION SAFETY

Wolgast Corporation is proud to announce that it has achieved the Associated Builders and Contractor's (ABC's) National Safety Merit Award. ABC recognized Wolgast as having an exceptional safety record, rigorous employee training, and safety education program. Awards are based on evaluation of safety programs and safety performance of comparable companies with similar total man hours in a calendar year, which for Wolgast was 250,000 - 500,000 man hours.

RICHARD KEITH OF WOLGAST ACHIEVES LEED ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL STATUS

Wolgast Corporation is pleased to announce that employee-owner and VP of Professional Services, Richard Keith, has achieved his LEED Accreditation. As a LEED AP, Keith has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building and the LEED Green Building Rating System. Wolgast, along with partner company, Barnes-Wolgast in Grand Rapids, now has five LEED AP staff members increasing the knowledge and skills to facilitate the LEED Certification Process for our customers who seek to transform their environment. Keith is responsible for Corporate provided Architectural and Engineering services and he will be able to further Wolgast's LEED Certification work by establishing the Architectural plans to meet the LEED needs of our clients at the onset of the project.

JEFF BATES OF WOLGAST CORPORATION ACHIEVES LEED ACCREDITATION

Wolgast Corporation is pleased to announce that employee-owner, Jeff Bates, has achieved his LEED Accreditation. Bates works for the Construction Management Division and he will be able to further Wolgast's LEED Certification work with educational facilities throughout Michigan and Ohio.
